This book, "Commemorative biographical record of northeastern Pennsylvania, including the counties of Susquehanna, Wayne, Pike and Monroe", was published in 1900 in four volumes, by J. H. Beers and Company. It contains biographical sketches of prominent and representative citizens and many of the early settled families.
