Tues., 9/30 Dried all my clothes and went to church for canned goods, being the major food sale but left again. Took Ruth for a walk. Bill came home to get working duds. Expects to start at new position.
Wed., 10/1 Strike ended. Thank Dieu*. Worked quite hard today ironing and mending. (*French for "God").
