Tues., 10/28 Mrs. Lewis called and we went shopping, also went to the food sale at church. Wrote a letter to Mr. Konight also. Went to nurse's home to see Miss Sharp and of course had a wonderful time. I think Miss Sharp will be a friend I have made for alway. I like her more each time.
Wed., 10/29 Nothing but real hard work today. Received a card from the club telling me to be sure to come to the Halloween party. Going to take Frenchy tonight to see if she thinks we are crazy.
This Mrs. Lewis must have been a friend or neighbor. Her Aunt Mary Ann Lewis lived in Pittsburgh. Her husband may have been a sibling or cousin of Samuel Lewis.
