Biography

Jonathan Stowell, Jr. was born in Ashford, Connecticut, on April 9, 1740. He married Rhoda Wilson on April 4, 1762, in Ashford. He was named on five deeds as "Jonathan Stoel Jr. of Ashford", between 1771 and 1773. He died before 1776. His children were named in his father's will, which was probated in Pomfret in January of 1776.
