Ann Elizabeth Smith was born in September of 1586 in Kent, England. She was the daughter of Richard Smith and Elizabeth Canty. She married William Knowlton, Jr., abt. 1608 and died in Hingham, Plymouth County, Massachusetts, on October 8, 1675, at the age of 89.
