Cornelis Centsz Bosyns was born on July 16, 1637, in Puttershoek, Binnenmaas, Zuid-Holland, Netherlands. He married Barbel Jans Boer and died in 1690. They were the parents of Maria Bosyns, who married Johannes Dykeman (1621-1672).
