Biography
Edward Hazzard (Hazard) was born in 1752 and married Susannah Havens of North Kingstown, Rhode Island, on April 13, 1773. Their son Edward Hazard, Jr. was born in 1775 and it is said that he died when his son was three years old. He had two brothers, Raymond and Joshua. Raymond was a sailor and Edward Hazard was a ship-captain for the English government.
