THE TATTOOIST
Also called "The Tattoo Artist", this whimsical painting shows a sailor at a tattoo parlor getting the name of his latest girlfriend added to his arm. Ex-girlfriends' names are crossed off. Betty is his latest love. This painting was created by Norman Rockwell for the cover of the March 4, 1944 edition of the Saturday Evening Post.
