Thurs., 12/25 Did not go to bed til 2:30 and up at 9 o’clock. Well this is some day, so busy. Had to make everyone work. Turkey tough, thank goodness we had chickens. The soldier said he enjoyed himself. Glad he did, for I did not. Never again another crowd like this. Seventeen guests.
Fri., 12/26 Stayed in bed a little late this morning and then took the soldier down to see the city. Ended up at the movies. Took Mr. Davis over to meet Olive and also to say goodbye as I had to send him on his way since I am unable to entertain him longer.
