Ichabod Hovey & Helen Smith Torrance were the parents of my ancestor,

Samuel Torrance Hovey

Sarah Jenette Hovey, born Feb. 10, 1810, died unmarried in Chicago, July 31, 1890.
Samuel Torrance Hovey
William Proctor Hovey, born May 13, 1814, married at Freeport, Illinois, and died there Sept. 20, 1849.
James Gross Hovey, born Nov. 18, 1818, died at Waverly, Iowa, May 18, 1865.
Jacob Turner Hovey, born March 10, 1822, marriage in Tioga County, New York, and died at Ulysses, Pennsylvania, in 1899.
Edward Dodge Hovey, born in Tioga County, New York, May 22, 1825. He married in Independence, Iowa, Jan. 15, 1857, and lived in Quasqueton, Iowa.
