Jasper Hollenbeck was born on the 9th of June, 1861, in Willet, Cortland County, New York. He was the son of Nicholas Hollenbeck and Lucy Ann Shevalier. Jasper married Mary Ellen McGinnis on the 16th of January, 1889. She was the daughter of William and Catherine McGinnis. Mary was a school teacher and active member of the Catholic Church. She died on the 10th of June, 1922, and he died on the 10th of February, 1937 after falling on ice and fracturing his skull at his home in West Willet. They are buried together with many other family members in Marathon Cemetery.

Jasper Hollenbeck & Mary Ellen McGinnis were the parents of my ancestor,

No other known children. If Jasper and Mary Ellen had any other children, they died young, as Rose was always an only child to the family's knowledge.
