Mr. Stephen Hopkins was born in 1582 in Upper Clatford, Hampshire, England. He was approximately 38 years old when he sailed on the Mayflower.
Stephen Hopkins was the head of his group, 'the Hopkins group'. He brought his wife and three children and one was born at sea. Later, they had four more children. They were recruited by Thomas Weston of London Merchant Adventurers. He was a Non-Separatist. He was a signer of the Mayflower Compact.
