Loammi Baldwin was a Major with command over three companies of Militia in Col. David Green's Regiment, in Woburn, Massachusetts.

Entered the conflict at Concord.

This was the rest of Green's militia regiment, three companies under Captains Joshua Walker, Jonathan Fox, and Samuel Belknap, all of Woburn, with their fellow townsman Major Loammi Baldwin in over-all command.(The Minute Men: a compact history, p. 180) He was 30 yrs old.
