Thurs., 5/15 Hurried my work & went visiting Mrs. Lewis in afternoon. Spent the evening at home.
Fri., 5/16 Such a busy day so tired I can hardly walk but I had to go to our club dance & do my little bit. Also found three new members for the club & met quite a few new persons.
This Mrs. Lewis must have been a friend or neighbor. Her Aunt Mary Ann Lewis lived in Pittsburgh. Her husband may have been a sibling or cousin of Samuel Lewis.
