In Owasco, Cayuga, New York in 1860: Bowers H. LEONARD (age 24, born abt. 1826 in New York), Elizabeth (27), and Mary A. (1). He was a son of Ezra and a descendant of Solomon LEONARD of Bridgewater, Mass.

His wife, Elizabeth C. Leonard's obituary from the Genoa Tribune, Feb. 3, 1905, states that they lived at 93 E. Genesee St, in Auburn, New York. She died at the age of 73 and was survived by her husband and five children: William, Edward, Louis, Mrs. B.C. Wickes and Miss Leonard of Auburn. She was buried in Soule Cemetery.
